Celebrating My Friends

62. I am so proud of all of my friends
...Ladies who are each so talented, smart, beautiful and creative. The fact that they are each so different makes me enjoy them all the more. Why do we compare ourselves to others? It takes away so very much of who we are. God has given each of us a storehouse of individual talents, looks, abilities and gifts to give. Why pass that up to form fit ourselves into something we are not?

So today I am celebrating several of my beautiful friend's talents in the kitchen. I want to share pictures of delicious dishes and foods prepared by them. They are each so talented and creative and I just had to give attention to their "Works of Food Art".

Heidi is a doll and so beautiful and talented. This past week she
baked a "Banana Nut Chocolate Chip Bread".
It was outstanding...and we devoured it...sorry no pictures to share, it went too fast.
But here are a few items she baked recently that I just had to share.
"Spinach Ring"...doesn't it look fantastic!!! Artistic perfection!
My friend Jenn is also a great homemade chef. She had us for dinner several months
ago and I just couldn't help taking these pictures...every dish was art!
For appetizers we had yummy "Fried Ravioli with Dipping Sauce",
"Marinated Veggies" and "Crostini with Prosciutto, fantastic Provolone,
olives, almonds and soft cheese spread".

The main course was "Vegetable Lasagna"...muah!
served with coffee on perfect china plates!
Food is a form of Art and doesn't it taste delicious! Now that is my idea of enjoying art!
Thank you Heidi and Jenn you are beauty personified!

Be yourself, celebrate who you are and share that with everyone around you...including yourself!

"At this very moment, you may be saying to yourself
that you have any number of admirable qualities.
You are a loyal friend, a caring person, someone who is smart,
dependable, fun to be around. That's wonderful, and I'm happy for you,
but let me ask you this: Are you being any of those things to yourself?"
